About
Me 1.jpg
Hi, I'm Richard and my true passion in life has always been to try to make a positive difference in the world around me and I was always drawn to work where I felt like I could achieve that.
My career began in disability in early 2001 where I was able to work with a range of clients with both physical and mental disabilities, learning about the challenges that existed for them and their families. From there, I followed my life long interest in health into completing a Bachelor of Science (Naturopathy) where I developed a real interest in treating physical and emotional illness through a holistic lens. From there, i really developed a desire for therapeutic work and I completed my Post Graduate in Counselling and Family Therapy and Masters in Social Work.  I have worked with all individuals across the lifespan with issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship dysfunction including family violence, addictions, trauma and palliative care patients. With every client I see, I offer a holistic place of compassion, non-judgment and empathy and work alongside them to reach a better quality of life. I try to see this hope in every client I see. I would love an opportunity to work with you and hopefully improve your quality of life where you are truly living and not just surviving.
